Niroshini Somasundaram

S. Niroshini was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She studied law, art history and Sanskrit at university in Melbourne and Oxford and trained as a solicitor before starting to write fiction and poetry.

She received a London Writers Award for Literary Fiction in 2019 and Third Prize in the Poetry London Prize 2020. She lives in London and is working on her debut novel.
