Eamon Dunphy is an Irish writer and broadcaster. He played professional football in England for seventeen years (five of them for Manchester United) and is the author of the classic football books A Strange Kind of Glory and Only a Game?, as well as the hugely successful Roy Keane autobiography. He also wrote the international bestseller Unforgettable Fire: the Story of U2. He lives in Dublin. His most recent publication was The Rocky Road, his autobiography published in 2013.
