Caroline Sheldon

Caroline Sheldon joined RCW Literary Agency in January 2024 when the Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency, which she set up in 1985, became a part of RCW. Her reading habit has always been excessive and broad in taste – as shoes to Imelda Marcos so books to Caroline. She continues to work as a consultant and among the many awards she is proud for her clients to have won are: Booksellers Association Books are My Bag Readers Award, The British Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year, Laugh out Loud Award, the CLiPPA Poetry Award and the Queen’s Medal for Poetry. She has enjoyed the great pleasure of representing two Childrens’ Laureates and been shortlisted for the prestigious Literary Agent of the Year Award.
