Stefania Aldana Trujillo

Biography

Stefania Aldana Trujillo is an illustrator whose work is marked by the influences from her two countries, Mexico and Colombia, and her love of colour and character.

With a BFA in Illustration with Honours from the School of Visual arts in New York and a recent completion of a MA from Cambridge School of Arts in Children’s Book Illustration, Stefania has worked as a freelance illustrator and textile designer and now is diving into the world of children’s books. Stefania's debut book The Hunt for the Fog Town Moose published by Kumusha Books has been longlisted for the IBC Awards 2026, the Derby Children's Book Award 2026 and the Klaus Flugge Prize 2026. 

Her work has also been shortlisted for The World Illustration Awards (2023) and Highly Commended at the Macmillan prize (2023).
