Mary Keen

(c) Mary Keen

Mary Keen is an internationally known designer,  writer and lecturer.  She was  a member of the National Trust Gardens Panel for twenty years. The author of six books and she  writes from the heart rather than to order.  She has had regular  columns in the Telegraph, Independent and London Standard and still contributes  to several gardening magazines, both here and abroad.  Most of the gardens she has designed have been too private for publication. She has worked on her own for many years,  as well as in partnership with Pip Morrison, always trying to make gardens which look as though they have been there for years.  Imposing displays interest her less than creating  atmosphere. Her own gardens at home, which  have been written about and  visited by groups from all over the world, remain her favourite projects.
