Colm Tóibín's The Magician (Viking) and Gwendoline Riley's My Phantoms (Granta) have been shortlisted for the Rathbones Folio Prize 2022. The titles are chosen from a longlist nominated by the more than 300 writer members of the Folio Academy, with the shortlist chosen by a panel of judges headed by novelist Tessa Hadley.
