RCW authors Denise Mina and Gwendoline Riley have been shortlisted for the Gordon Burn Prize.
As well as a cheque for £5,000, the Gordon Burn Prize offers the winning writer the opportunity to undertake a writing retreat of up to three months at Gordon Burn’s cottage in the Scottish Borders.
This year’s eclectic judging panel are artist and musician, Cosey Fanni Tutti; Zimbabwean writer, Petina Gappah; editor of Observer Food Monthly and writer, Allan Jenkins: and novelist, journalist, and broadcaster, Ian Sansom.
We wish both Gwendoline and Denise the best of luck.
