David Malouf
Biography
David Malouf (1934 - 2026) was an acclaimed novelist, short story writer, poet and playwright. His short story collections include Dream Stuff (‘These stories are pearls,’ - Spectator) and Every Move You Make. His novels include The Great World (winner of the Commonwealth Writers’ and Miles Franklin Prizes) and Remembering Babylon (shortlisted for the Booker Prize and winner of the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award). Born and brought up in Brisbane, he lived in Sydney for most of his life.
