Lauren Ford

Biography

Lauren Ford has a background in film distribution and script development, specialising in romantic comedies. Her award-winning short film The Anthesis of Man won Best Dark Comedy at the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival.

Lauren’s debut novel, Liv Is Not a Loser, is a hilarious best-friends-to-lovers rom-com about reinvention and was a Spiegel bestseller. Her second novel, One Last Night, is a contained enemies-to-lovers fake-dating romance in which a once-in-a-lifetime storm traps restaurant staff overnight, leading to unexpected love.

Lauren lives in Australia with her husband, two children and one overly excitable Sheepadoodle. 

When she isn’t writing, she can be found reading anything involving romance or patting random unsuspecting animals.
