Biography
Daughters of Stonedale (Transworld, May 2026) is a sweeping and emotional WW1 historical novel and the first in a brand new trilogy from Jenny delving into the lives of Mary Cooper and Alice Dearing. Born into two separate worlds they find themselves working together at the local military hospital and an unlikely friendship begins to form.
Jenny’s links with Yorkshire, where she lives, date back through many generations, where her mother served in the Land Army during WWII, her aunts were pharmacists and shop-workers, and her grandfather worked as a village blacksmith and pub landlord. Jenny also writes children’s books as Jenny Oldfield, and her books have been adapted as major dramas for the BBC and ITV.
