Ferdinand Mount

Biography

Ferdinand Mount was born in 1939. He is the former editor of the TLS and columnist for the Sunday Times. He is the author of The Liquidator, Umbrella, The Subversive Family, The British Constitution Now, Jem (and Sam), The Man Who Rose Ampersand, Of Love and Asthma, Heads You Win, The Condor’s Head, Mind the Gap, Cold Cream, Prime Movers, Kiss Myself Goodbye, Big Caesars and Little Caesars, Making Nice, Soft and The Pentecost Papers. His novel Fairness was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2001.
