Andy Darcy Theo

Biography

Andy Darcy Theo is a British-Greek Cypriot author with an educational and occupational background in clinical psychology and teaching. He holds a first-class BSc in Psychology and a PGCE in Psychology teaching, and currently works part-time as the head of psychology in his school. He is also an avid BookToker and Bookstagrammer (where he posts as @andydarcytheo) and has been documenting his author journey online, attracting millions of views and likes globally. 

His debut novel, The Light That Blinds Us (2024), became an instant bestseller. It is the first in the Descent Into Darkness quartet which masterfully weaves themes of mental health, psychosis, and found family.

In 2026, he was selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, recognising his remarkable impact and influential voice in contemporary YA fiction.
