Eduardo Rabasa studied political science at Mexico’s National University (UNAM), where he graduated with a thesis on the concept of power in the work of George Orwell. He writes a weekly column for the national newspaper Milenio, and has translated books of authors like Morris Berman, George Orwell and Somerset Maugham. He is the author of Zero-Sum Game (La suma de los ceros) published in 2015, Black Belt (Cinta Negra) published in 2017, and a collection of short stories, Fate is a Rabbit that Gives you Orders (El Destino es un Conejo que te Da Ordenes) in 2019. He was selected among the best Twenty Best Young Mexican contemporary authors in the project México20. He is one of the founding members of the publishing house Editorial Sexto Piso in Mexico, where he has worked as an editor since.
