Stuart Kelly is the author of The Book of Lost Books (Penguin, 2005) which has now appeared in 15 countries, and Scott-land: The Man Who Invented a Nation (Birlinn, 2011). He was literary editor of Scotland on Sunday. His most recent book is The Minister and the Murderer (Granta, 2018).
