Robin Blake lives in London. As a writer on art he is author of Anthony Van Dyck: A Life 1599-1641 (1999), Essential Modern Art (2001) and George Stubbs and the Wide Creation (2006). He is also a contributor to the arts pages of the Financial Times. As a novelist Robin has published Fat Man's Shadow (1988), The Gwailo (1990) and two titles in his current series about Coroner Titus Cragg and Doctor Luke Fidelis, A Dark Anatomy (2011) and Dark Waters (2012).
